LITTLE HOUSE

During a Holotropic
Breathwork session, I had
this dream…..
What was an old one-car detached garage with a dirt floor (and the Reverand’s old church bulletins buried in the floor) became a place to “express” myself - the Art Barn.
When Clyde finished the blueprints, Troy began building the fiber studio. It took about a year. Why? Because there are no right angles (to speak of). She is finished now - the paths are in place and gardens will follow. People ask, “What is it? A rental? An airbnb? Oh, you can’t go wrong with a small rental in La Veta." I have to tell them I don’t know what she will be. Right now, she is a guest house (for friends, not rent) and my personal retreat center. I love her too.
Some time later - maybe 6 months (give or take a year)... my daughter called, saying the little house next door to her house was being tidied up by the landlord for the next tenant. "Maybe he’d want to sell it….. " And sure enough, Tony (landlord) liked that idea - so I bought the Little House - a simple 1906 house. And I love her. We painted and cleaned her while my architect neighbor, Clyde, designed the ‘fiber studio” for the backyard.
